Web11 de out. de 2006 · The Quadrajet is a very good carb for off-road, hi-camber situations. I purchased my Qjet from Autozone for $159.00, bolted it on and has been running great. Do you have a number for it. I've been looking to upgrade and this looks like a good choice. The guys there usually can't find anything without a number. Mar 28, 2014 #7 I got a 670CFM Holley Truck Avenger and love it (engine is 302). Works great on and off road and it wasn't hard to tune it myself.

The 2150 doesn't have a separate fuel bowl with gaskets to leak, and you can open up the 2150 and change the jets in less than 5 minutes, without draining the fuel. From a power standpoint for mountain grades, carrying a heavy load, pulling a trailer, it's an outstanding carb. It also does quite well at steep angles, just as Holley says it will.
