WebJun 11, 2024 · Rotate a Part or Assembly. To start, the wheel acts as a button. If I highlight a face in my model with the wheel and click and drag the part, the model rotates about that face. I can do the same with an edge. Highlight an edge and click on the wheel, and now I’m able to make my model pivot on that selected edge. WebI would like to be able to "grab" the part and then rotate or move it by simply clicking the part (e.g. rmb or wheel) and dragging the mouse, as it is done in e.g. SolidWorks. I assume this should be possible, but haven't been able to find an answer anywhere. Solid Edge.
